Probably not the first to say this, but if you find LLMs to be useful but hate the AI grift, one thing you can do is reject the language of the grifters. You didn’t *ask* Claude to do something, you *used* Claude to do it. The anthropomorphizing is meant to aggrandize these tools, and you don’t have to participate in the propaganda. I ask things of, and collaborate with, people, and LLMs are nothing more than a tool. Claude doesn’t have agency, it has integrations.
