Nifty-looking article: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsestair.5c00138 (paywalled, but the abstract does the job). TLDR, 222nm UVC kills bugs but makes indoor pollutants, existing air cleaners mitigate that pollution nicely.
