I scratched my own itch and I have patched directory browser in "The Servant" to support SD2IEC, allowing for navigation in and out of directories and disk images ('DIR' filetype) with RETURN and / keys. The original navigation in/out of 1581 partitions ('CBM') works too.
There are also some enhancements for C128s expanded to 256k.
