Dear @…, thank you so much for this podcast. It makes me think very carefully about the narratives that I am trying to write. But let me in turn urge you to reject the thought that 'there is no alternative' to money.
Money is the vector which transmits the disease of capitalism.

Looking for a citation. I used to have it and cannot find it. This diagram of two half circles depicts a world ending and a world emerging. I saw it on a poster in a video of lady giving a talk. I don't think it was a Youtube. I've searched through my history and my files and I don't where I put this info.
She is an activist. Anyone know who she is? Or have an early source of this diagram? (I'm less interested in folks who have ripped her work without citation). Thank …

One half circle on top with the text "world ending" and one half circle at the bottom with the text "world emerging."

@… Thank you! $145 with shipping to Sweden 😬. But also in new condition(!) I’ll have to think on this. It would have to be company expenses.

@… Thank you for interesting post! While I struggle with different issues, I can very much relate to the trilingual challenges…
Every time I see a study about the supposed benefits of multilingualism for your brain I think, hopefully I eventually get to reap these benefits, because for now, I’m just struggling to express myself in three languages, a…

THANK YOU to everyone who posted about the series 🤖MurderBot.
Apple offered me a "free one-week trial" and I just finished binge-watching season one.
It is absolutely delicious. I think the last time I had so much fun, such pure enjoyment, was when I saw Galaxy Quest!😊
If not for people on here raving about it, I probably wouldn't have found it. 💙

News flash: Billionaires are unpopular. But, the strength of the sentiment and how fast the needle has moved were both surprises to me. nytimes.com/2025/12/14/opinion

Uhm, no thank you, I don't think I'll bother with that "bridging" to "bluesky" that you want me to do.

#matsodon , this is part of why your friends think it's too hard & everyone stays on X or Twitter or tries out BSky.
I *JUST* want to like someone's post. I just want to give them a small amount of happy-brain-chemicals & thank them for what they wrote. Why do I have to log in again? I'm already logged in!
Yes, if I wanted to quote their stuff, I see the dangers, I could be trying to do a pile on. But I just want to give them a ⭐️. Why make it so hard???

If you think #Gentoo was boring recently, I've been doing some stuff to make it more interesting. No need to thank me.
#FlexiBLAS: now default in order to break more ~arch systems
#FreePG: available as an alternative on ~arch, but dependencies need to be updated still to allow it more
#ZlibNG: started experimenting with it locally, flag still masked
