@… On I’m aware. But I don’t think that makes it any less necessary. If society is going to keep depending on software for even the most basic functions, sooner or later I hope some force ensures we stop just playing “Move fast and break things”.

Along those lines, I'm gonna take my own advice and work on some writing. Just finished sewing my pants, gonna switch to writing after kids are in bed tomorrow.
I've been in a writing group and I got some great feedback on a couple of things I wrote. I'll probably re-publish with updates soon. Also gonna try to finish another project I've had in my head for a bit, we'll see how it goes.
Good luck to everyone, see you all when I'm done.

Dear Friends,
The brilliant fingerstyle guitarist Danny Gotham and I have finished most of the work on our record. A veritable bucket list of tunes, 18 in all, that cover a wide range of genres and composers, including Peter Ostroushko, John McLaughlin, David Lindley, and more.
We’d so very grateful if you click the link, check out the premiums, and support the project!

With the extension of the CVE record format in GCVE, we added the related vulnerabilities for the "recent" telnetd. Very nifty for analyst. The edit functionality in vulnerability-lookup supports the BCP-05 extensions including relationships.
Thanks to @… for digging

If you’ve never been into exercise or considered yourself “a gym person,” the idea of starting exercise in midlife can feel daunting, or even futile.
But here’s the good news:
from a scientific standpoint, your 40s may be one of the most powerful times to get started.
When it comes to bone, muscle, metabolism, heart health and even brain function, it is never too late to start exercising.
In fact, your body is remarkably responsive to change at this stage of life, and y…

I think, and it may be an unpopular opinion among my peers indeed, that we need to learn to actually make this into an Engineering discipline.
I *want* to develop code that one can reasonably trust to perform life sustaining functionality, much like I reasonably trust every bridge I drive over not to collapse under me.
We’re far from it, but these days, it seems we’ve actively decided to do *exactly the opposite of that*, and that I just can’t be a part of.

I suspect that my VS Code is completely "borken" as I cannot imagine how so many people are productive using it.
1. The selection behavior I have shared earlier continues to manifest sporadically. A restart fixes it. Sometimes.
2. I can't recall any keyboard shortcuts as they don't use any historical paradigms and they are all of the place.
3. Frequently used functionality (e.g. stage changes) has no shortcuts.
I am sure this is will be unpopular opinion.
It's been my experience so far. Very frustrating and I almost gave up a few times already.
