Kenmore is not a big village, but it seems to be where Buffalo bands come to retire.
I love it has Porchfest.
Started on lower east side with Not Normal (rock), then across town for Dellwood and the Nightshades (alt/indie) then caught Sector Seven-G (80s, 90s rock).

Map of a village about a mile wide with 68 porches marked as venues.
The covered patio of Oriental Palace with three guitarists and a drummer playing.
Assorted lawn chairs across a double-wide lawn with five person band — keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, vocalist.
A deep shaded bungalow front porch with a guitarist, drummer, bassist, and singer.

I've been thinking about simonomi.dev/blog/color-code-y.
Whipped up a quick prototype for HTTP Toolkit's hex view - what do you think? Interesting and more useful than monochrome, or just visually noisy?
See if you can guess what each file type is …

A hex view with bytes coloured by value - in this case a favicon (lots of 00 at the start, then repeating patterns later).
A hex view with bytes coloured by value - in this case HTML (lots of ascii values with similar colours, and quite a few symbols for the < > etc)
A hex view with bytes coloured by value - in this case protobuf - a mix of ascii strings and very low 0X bytes.

The 2026 State of CSS Survey results are out:
2026.stateofcss.com/
Unsurprised color features in CSS are most hated, despite last year’s survey’s odd focus on them.
CSS carousels also fitting given they encode WCAG violations, break Separation of Concerns.

Most Hated Feature. Awarded to the feature with the highest proportion of negative opinions.
Wide Gamut Colors.
Even though Wide Gamut Colors are a great feature, 7.9% of respondents still had a negative impression.
Runner Ups:
2. CSS Carousels: 6.6%.
3. Interpolation Color Spaces: 5.6%.

Book cover with title and subtitle: “Digital Accessibility Ethics: Disability Inclusion in All Things Tech.” Below is an abstract painting of yellow, orange, blue, turquoise, pink, and purple arcs; figures, circles, and building-like shapes are in the lower half. This is just me venting.
I hate that if I want to lug a slightly smaller screen than my Surface Go to gaming, the iPad Mini behaves more like a tiny phone than my actual phone. With no way to tell DnD Beyond that there is plenty of real estate and to please use it.
I blame Apple / Safari here.

A Surface Go 3 with an 11½ inch diagonal screen, an iPad Mini 6 with its 9 inch diagonal screen, and a Pixel 6 with its 6¾ inch screen, all against on another to show the very different total surface area.
My D & D Beyond character sheet, with all attributes saves, skills, and most actions and weapons visible without scrolling, despite the fixed nav bar; the image is labeled Surface Go 3.
Same character sheet in landscape mode, but only three attributes are visible, along with four other stats, and not much else, while the fixed nav bar and character name take up half the height of the screen; the image is labeled iPad Mini 3.
The same sheet also in landscape mode, all attributes visible, plus a few other stats with the fixed nav bar only taking a quarter of the height; this is labeled Pixel 6.
