A kobo e-reader on a white bar with a drink menu labeled “Buffaloha Monday Nite Tiki Nite” from Nowhere Lounge, and behind the e-reader is a small 4 ounce glass of something dark pink, a bigger chunky and textured glass with two pineapple leaves sticking out of ice and another dark pink drink, and a greenish textured tumbler of water.

OpenAI, ARIA, and SEO: Making the Web Worse By Adrian Roselli.
In this article Adrian delivers a compelling critique of OpenAI's new Atlas browser for encouraging misuse of ARIA tags, intended for accessibility, to help its ChatGPT agent better parse websites, which will worsen web accessibility and fuel SEO abuse. He highlights OpenAI's poor understanding of accessibility standards and warns that this approach could lead to further degradation of web quality and user experience.

When considering what keyboard shortcuts to support in your application, don’t stress about JAWS/NVDA. They have pass-through commands (a key combo that tells the SR to ignore the next key/combo).
• NVDA F2
• JAWS 3
• Narrator 3
Stress about other languages instead.

I appreciate this has some support gaps, but `list` (htmhell.dev/adventcalendar/202) is mostly moot given `datalist` support:

I’m seeing more comments to my blog from people asking for the latest support / bug / gap / etc for testing I’ve performed.
I write these posts so people can do it on their own.
I look forward to people commenting with their own (rigorous) testing results instead. Some day.

Sitting on a fancy sofa in a very dim bar surrounded by a dozen tieflings as I sip NA amari and the DJ spins Camouflage and more modern knock-offs and 14-year-old me is pleased at this. Current me is pleased at how early it is.

I’m not on board with this.
Instead of an “are you over 18” question for a feature I don’t want, let me skip it and keep the feature off.
Also, didn’t Vispero get my contact details in order to take my money?

Q: Why do you need my age?
A: Some AI features legally require users to be over a certain age. A simple confirmation (“Are you over 18?”) will replace collecting birth dates.
Q: What information is actually required to create an account?
A: Starting soon, only two things will be required:
1. Basic contact information (name and email),
2. A simple age confirmation.
All other fields will become optional.
