I hit a wall inspiration-wise for the last few months to hack on my #homelab. Not entirely sure why that happened, maybe research fatigue from planning for my Japan trip?
Anyway finally got back into it a little bit today as I moved forward on setting up my M4 MacBook Pro. It's been sitting partially configured for months now but spent some time applying my dotfiles config.

Getting packed for a week long motorcycle camping trip. I leave tomorrow. This is a much much needed break.
First night I'll be camping in Point Pleasant, WV and visiting the Mothman museum. After that, heading over to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky, then looping down through Tennessee, North Carolina and back into West Virginia where I'm planning to spend a couple of days exploring sites like Audra State Park and Blackwater Falls. I'll be posting photos from the trip here…

fun fact: It's faster to drive to Ottawa from Vancouver than take the train (also alot cheaper for more than 1 person) 🙄 North America is so stoopid #stupid #NorthAmericaIsStupid #Trains
For fun if you're interested: Here's a rough breakdown of options to get one or two or 4 people across Canada and back from Port Alberni, BC on Vancouver Island to Ottawa Ontario in as quick and cheap as possible.
This is a 9900km round trip, so it's not like it's a hop skip jump :)
