Another piece of sad US science news: Fulbright board is resigning to protest government interference. When I lived in Beijing as a student, I shared an apartment with a Fulbright scholar. She was so accomplished and amazing, and did really important work (in addition to volunteer teaching at a local middle school, impacting countless families - I wonder how much that achieved for US-China relations)
