Die zomervakantie duurt zes weken en is verplicht voor alle basis- en middelbare scholen in Nederland. Fijn voor leraren en kinderen, maar voor werkende ouders kan dit soms een behoorlijke uitdaging vormen. "In Nederland werken scholen en opvang niet samen en moeten ouders het zelf maar uitzoeken", zegt onderwijscolumnist Aleid Truijens in De Rode Draad.
