Just migrated my password manager from the original bitwarden to a self-hosted vaultwarden.
Was really painless.

Decided to give Postgresus a go for managing my DB backups and monitoring. Connected Vaultwarden and Immich's DBs to it, have them backing up to Backblaze B2 for offsite backups, and connected email and Discord notifications just in case the DBs eat themselves somehow. The backups work pretty well, gonna see how things go with it.

@… I run #vaultwarden which is a Rust implementation mostly compatible with the clients. There are a few special features not implemented but as I said, most stuff works.

Alright, time to kick the tires on Vaultwarden. Got it installed, SSL and SMTP configured as well as proper `nginx` rules. The export from 1Password imported perfectly fine, and it's running great on a 2 vCPU/4 GiB of RAM VM. I did run Bitwarden for a short while, but I'd rather have a PostgreSQL backend than the MSSQL one.
Satisfied so far.
