I just checked the gaming section of the gogole play store out of pure boredome, and I'm astonished to say that cash grabbing hynotic stupid games are in the "from the editors" section.
Like what the hell? It's all trash, even the one "curated" by Google as good stuff.
And then the same people ask us to trust them with being the sole gatekeeper of all android applications? No way in hell you seller of trash.

This week's #GrindayFriday is Serbian deathgrinders GNOJ. They just put out EP 'Anujka' and I love it. Five intense songs, about a minute each, listen to the whole thing in around five minutes. But there's some GROOVES on this, too. No idea what they're saying, but DAMN, it rips. Grindy, deathy, a powerviolence shout here or there, hell yeah.

I'm sure that VMS is completely documented, I just haven't found the

library and I'm half way through the second cabinet, (3 shelves to go), so I

The new MacOS update makes the DVD player (the thing for SuperDrives - surprised they aren't Magic Drives, now that I think about it) janky as hell. This is a well-known issue, according to my perfunctory web searches. Drops to something like 5FPS. Works fine otherwise, but annoying.
Two questions: Does anyone know if this is this likely to be fixed? And if not, and also while we wait, is there a DVD player someone can recommend? VLC needs Rosetta and its UI has always been borderline unusable anyway. Yes, I tried it again, but it switched randomly from German to Spanish and had no navigation menu for the disk itself. I'm looking for something that can read the disk and works like the native DVD player, minus the jank. But maybe the jank is fundamental. That's really what I'm trying to find out.
For now, I'll use a non-updated Mac but I will want to update it at some point. Ironists need not remind me about my recent rant regarding updates.

I don’t know what bothers me more: That "lock aspect ratio" is not the default for images in PowerPoint, or that people don't notice (or don't care) if their slides contain heavily distorted pictures. (LibreOffice Impress is also hell to work with, but at least it does not make this mistake.)

Thinking back, I spent a hell of a lot of time in school learning to write by hand. By far, the most text I compose is behind a keyboard, and I go out of my way to find opportunities to write in longhand.
