I recently watched a Veritasium video that touches on Braess's Paradox[1]: sometimes removing connections (eg roads) makes things faster.
The part that caught my attention was "even though every driver made a rational decision to minimize their own time, collectively it made the situation worse."
IOW, proof that adding up everyone's self interested actions does NOT lead to the best outcome. aka,

Yesterday I watched both The Fetus (horror, great and gross, has Victoria Heyes from the Terrifier flicks and also Bill Moseley) and also Magpie (thriller/drama, also dark but not gross, with Daisy Ridley) and I enjoyed both. And the similarity here is that both films deal with the responsibilities involved with having kids. 😂

Speaking of embarrassing SF politicians, I haven't watched this yet but Lurie-appointed Supervisor Alan Wong reportedly did not come off well here.
(He said he would talk to everyone about Sunset Dunes park/former Great Highway before making a decision, and agreed to this town hall with Sunset Dunes supporters, but then preempted it by announcing he'd try to turn the park back into a highway)

I watched a wonderful movie last night with @….
"Nonnas" - Really is a beautiful story with a great cast.
Check out the Synopsis and if it sounds like your kind of thing, do watch it. I don't think you would be disappointed.
