Our hotel wifi keeps glitching. I'm guessing that there's a captive portal or something that is disabled, but the device randomly wants to send people to that network. Sometimes you'll have a 10.0.x.x IP address and everything will be fine, but other times you connect and you'll get a 192.168.1.x IP address and can't even reach the gateway (192.168.1.250). There’s exactly 1 narrow way that it’s true. Before widespread #WFH, attackers often had an insurmountable barrier: no way into the business network from the Internet. At the last gig (2008) where I had to visit a “workplace” regularly, inbound remote access was officially non-existent & outbound Internet access all went through restrictive web proxies.

They've taken a survey about how security people think their businesses couldn't survive ransomware, and linked it to working from home. WFH isn't the problem: business IT and resilience being built on quicksand is the problem.

Done some more work with the VR animation engine today.
Seems to now be working that I can lay in the path that the character will walk, and then puppet their limbs as they walk it.
