Okay, did some A/B testing of CachyOS (Handheld Edition) and Bazzite (HTPC) installed on my two faux "Steam Machines". Both targeted AMD, and both should boot directly into Steam. The quick summary:

The whole DIY Steam Machine was kinda an itch to see if I could build one with the parts I already had and to see if there were going to be any issues with the OS, software, things like that. Finished up with the build, turned out pretty well. I do wish I had some quieter fans, but considering the space constraints I'm happy that they work as well as they do. The 240mm AIO keeps CPU cool enough though I worry that the Radeon 7900XT is going to catch fire considering airflow, but it was well-behaved while testing it out.
