First time doing #yoga with Adriene, or anyone else, in far too long. Main findings are my wrists hate supporting me, and I'm woefully out of shape. I'm not sure how to solve the wrist thing as I aggravate them by #knitting.

A ThinkPad X230 (2012) is all the computer you need and if you need more computer then a ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook (2020) is all the computer you need and if you need more computer than git gud and if you're unable to git gud for any reason then ask Claude to git you gud and if you're unable to ask Claude for any reason then idk mate consider moving to a tiny house in Montana or sth or maybe find your nearest Jacquard loom and give it the ol' percussive tune-up

“Move your body for 20 minutes a day; get out for a walk – it doesn’t have to be vigorous exercise – and get some sunshine on your skin.” This can help combat anxious thoughts. Yoga, meditation or mindfulness are worth exploring too.
And most of all, don't about exposure to things that make you anxious. Avoidance only makes the problem worse!

I think my main concern about the StarLite is that its CPU is considerably less powerful than the A12X on my iPad, and would be even less powerful than getting a 360° laptop such as a Lenovo Yoga.
Tho a 360 laptop wouldn’t have a rear camera, which is nice to take pictures of the board or of the teachers slides or something to put together with my notes…

Another stab at yoga earlier, this time specifically for sciatica, and so far so good. I'm still in me PE kit but it looks like it's too squally to get out properly today, so these little beauties remain unchristened but it won't be long. Thank you FootAsylum in Newport 👣

Aaah here we go, a bit of walking, a spot of yoga, and my back's siezed up, just in time to add a little something to the long weekend. Between that and my skin it feels like the cards are stacked against me being active. I have my over 50s check at the GP soon and I know what they're going to say. Walloping doses of topical steroids keep my skin more or less under control but can't counter the effects of getting hot and sweaty. Am I stuck? 🤷

Today is International Yoga Day. Apropos, a picture of 800 years old idol of "yoga narasimha" of Kaniyooru Matha, Udupi; the gold cladding is recent. The idol on its right is also yoga narasimha but a few decades newer. On the left is Krishna; age unknown but old.
I love the detail of the crowns and other ornaments, as well as that of the silver arch behind the idols. And of course the elegance of the simple decoration.
