Youtube Studio mailed me the latest statistics re my Youtube channel. Very few people watch a video the whole way through. But the mail had suggestions for new videos that I might make. They are ghastly AI slop, made of words from my videos, strung together with ZERO understanding. YUK
It's no wonder that there is so much misinformation on Youtube -they invite it!

Some kind (?) soul has uploaded over a hundred episodes of #ReachForTheTop to YouTube, all originally aired between the early 1980s and early 1990s. My appearance during the Ontario provincial playoffs is in there (along with all of the other members of my family, in different capacities), as well as my team's provincial win from the year before (on which I was an alternate).

Youtube has this "3rd recommendation" thing, where the 3rd recommendated video is a super small channel or low-view video.
Normally quite cool, as it's a nice way to promote a small channel that fits your interest.
In the last couple weeks/months more and more slop stuff showed up that I had to block.
Now YT seems to get really weird with it.

I don't know if "Revisit" is a #YouTube genre, but the "Only Desi" channel has revisits of #Bollywood #movies with supremely funny roasts. You do need decent familiarity with that movie industry, and India in general, to get full mileage.
Recommend 10/10.

This is an excellent and in depth interview mostly about Trump, how he works, and why we’re here in this state of the world.
Scaramucci surprises me with the quality of his answers, and he says we should not discount Trump as “stupid” either, so point taken.
Sit down for 45min and check it out on @…’s new long form YouTube channel.
I am left disturbed, confirmed, but also optimistic that someone like Scaramucci is optimistic.
