The legislature ended up striking a different deal with the anti-tax dorks that is also bad and dumb, but not an immediate threat to existing affordable housing funds. I’ll write more about it later.

#AB736 is a bill being rushed through that would give rich real estate investors a tax cut, slashing housing funds in SF, Santa Cruz and LA and preventing other cities from raising revenue this way.
