Nice to see these tools emerging, based on the mandatory public #EV charging data sharing. Enabled by a technical detail of Europe’s charging regulation #AFIR, this delivers useable insights for EV drivers, who’ll hopefully vote with their 🔌

Open data for public EV charging points, as required by the European #AFIR regulation, the Belgian edition:
- now mostly outsourced to a commercial data aggregator, requiring registration
- price is stored per charger, and you can make 1 request every 10 seconds = 6/min, 360/hr, 8640/day

I'm developing a tool to analyse European public EV charging prices, particularly time-varying ones. According to the EU's #AFIR, this data should be freely accessible and there should be a National Access Point (NAP) to easily retrieve and use it. It’s not.
