Ugh, after a while I wanted to use "Stirling PDF" again for some file merging and was greeted by lots of cookie warnings and a login wall. Turns out they've gone for an "open-core" model a few days ago…
Any recommendations for alternatives that don't suck (yet)?

ännu ett avsnitt i "betalar för kommersiell mjukvara men måste lägga timmar för att kunna använda den", vi betalar för Adobe Acrobat Pro men Adobe bara vägrar låta mig installera det. Har nog lagt en halvtimme på det bara idag. Fattar inte att min byrå betalar för den här skiten.

Bild på min inloggning på Adobe där det tydligt står att jag har en Acrobat Pro-licens.

@… interessant! Kann man da vielleicht mit etwas Stahlwolle nachhelfen? Ich hab selber tatsächlich kaum Erfahrung mit laminierten Folien, weil ich Team "Nach der Session das PDF in Acrobat laden, anpassen und neu ausdrucken" bin 🤪

As someone who hates seeing Acrobat commercials I'm so excited.
But I would use Krita or some other tool before Adobe. In web world figma has full ownership.
