Na een leiderschapswissel bij Forum voor Democratie om het imago te verbeteren verdubbelde de uiterst rechtse partij haar zetelaantal. Dat de partijtop banden onderhoudt met extremistische figuren is te zien op het JFVD-kerstgala, waar opvallende personen eregast waren.
