@lmc@mastodon.socialCrazy morning. Had to take a car to amtrak this morning; there was an accident just before we got to the bridge which added ~45 minutes and I almost missed my 🚂 !
I was wearing my SF City FC scarf and my driver was very excited by it. We started chatting ⚽️, luckily he was from Oakland and knew all the shortcuts, so I got to the station about three minutes after the train and boarded it with a couple of minutes to spare!
@joe@toot.worksThanks to the new Borealis train, you can now take a train from #Milwaukee to the dells and come back on the same day. I just wish that there was more than an hour and a half between when the first train arrives and when the only train returns.

@lmc@mastodon.socialThey're making announcements at Jack London Amtrak station that there's a system wide delay (I don't think 🤞 my train is affected) that because of a stuck drawbridge, wondering where that would be. also this is the closest I've ever been to missing a train (other than the time we missed our stop and were carry-bys).
