Vorig jaar om deze tijd boekten we een reis door Zuid-Engeland ergens in augustus. Vanwege operaties, chemokuren en een hartinfarct ging dat niet door en we bleken een prima annuleringsverzekering te hebben. Nu hebben we, bijna zonder achterom te kijken een week in de Achterhoek geboekt, het voelt bijna overmoedig. Verder weg kunnen we nog niet aan.

The only genuine image of the 2026 annular #SolarEclipse I've seen so far - and at an extremely short wavelength of only 17 nanometers, from the Proba 2 satellite: proba2.sidc.be/Eclipse17Februa (which sees the solar corona in emission, so the Sun doesn't have a sharply defined edge).
