@jamesthebard@social.linux.pizzaAfter fixing two AUR `PKGBUILD` files and a bit of patching, the initial rough Arch repo is online. Even made the package list look good with some fancy indexing. The compile takes a long time, but since it's in a VM I'm not too bothered about it. I will probably make an actual build system, but for now the crontab will suffice.

Take the Arch iso. Install, no desktop. Don't follow recommendations. Install Plasma desktop and add KDE modules as you see fit. Use the new Plasma login manager, Wayland only. End up with a very lean, encrypted system, clocking in below 700 pkgs and at 987Mb. Now, that makes me happy 😊

yt-dlp updated and working again. Arch is awesome. It took less than 24 hours to get the program update.
By the way, Google: screw you and your updates to "improve" YT.

@bammerlaan@mastodon.nlFinally getting around to updating my server to #Yunohost. I was using #ArchLinux ARM, but I installed the wrong version, and never r really got around to reinstalling it, because I remembered what a hassle it was setting everything up.
Here's hoping I'll be able to set up something running on #Debian, it's been a long time since I touched anything not Arch-based.

@jamesthebard@social.linux.pizzaOkay, next big thing: get `svt-av1-psyex` packaged up for installation on Arch Linux. Figured the easiest way would be to grab the PKGBUILD for `svt-av1-psy-git` and tweak as necessary. Also, need to add Dolby Vision and HDR10 support because reasons.
