Another night on the couch. I can mostly breathe out both nostrils right now as long as i stay in a semi reclined or upright seated position, although there's still plenty of congestion so who knows how long that will last. The irritation on the left eye is very much still there, and now there's an annoying tickle of a cough. Right eye seems unaffected, strangely. Wonder if i got lucky or if I'll wake up with it all crusted up too?
Kid is fully recovered and back at school …

Attempting to use arch, btw, in a VM for the first time (to set up a ngscopeclient CI builder).
Coming from Debian... wow this is not a noob distro lol. So far I've had to manually partition the disk in a shell, configure everything from the keymap to the time zone by editing config files or creating symlinks. There's no top level install tool as far as I can tell.
And grub didn't auto detect anything so now I have I think a fully installed system but I'm stuck in…

It's 5 in the morning. No idea what time i finally fell asleep but it was probably after midnight since i remember hearing the click of the Christmas light timer we never unplugged that was set for 11pm standard time.
My nostrils are completely clogged if I'm in any position other than standing, even sleeping on the couch in a half sitting position they were pretty stuffed.
And now my left eye is itchy and goopy because right when I was over the fever and the sore throat …

24.3 kWh production, another new record. The days are getting longer and the sun is getting higher, but the monsoon season keeps breaking up streaks of high production with heavy rainstorms.
We might get up to an inch of snow ovenight into tomorrow which will probably hurt my numbers until it melts, if any of it sticks (the panels and roof are probably warmer than the ground, so it may just melt on contact)

Just had a "software engineer specializing on full stack AI/ML development" show up in the ngscopeclient dev chat, give like two lines of what looked like human generated feedback on the CI/build setup, then descend into AI slop completely misunderstanding the infrastructure.

Anyone know of an Android to-do list application that is
* Completely device local, no network connectivity required or used
* No ads or spyware
* Doesn't time-out tasks even if they sit around for a year uncompleted (looking at you, google calendar)
* Supports recurring maintenance tasks for weekly, monthly, etc. cleaning or something
Open source preferred, but willing to pay a reasonable price if it's out there as a commercial tool

No high fructose corn syrup.
Just regular corn syrup plus a bit of extra sucrose. Gotta love sketchy marketing.
(A previous formulation had the first two ingredients corn syrup and fructose... I wonder if they got sued or something and changed it to spike with sucrose instead?)

Anybody know of an "asan for vulkan" tool that can catch use of uninitialized values in a VkBuffer? Validation layers will catch out of bounds access but not reading a value that you failed to write first
