Uhoh... the beginning of some buyer's remorse perhaps for the folks who thought LNG was going to be the Great New Job Creator and saviour of Terrace BC?
"Mayor Sean Bujtas closed off debate by saying he had a problem with LNG Canada itself.
“LNG Canada boasted the cleanest LNG facility in the world and I don’t really think we’re there today,” he said. “And so the question is why, and when are we getting there? We have an air shed. You can only get it so dirty before it becomes a problem.”
“I’m confident everybody in Kitimat and everybody in Terrace is seeing something they did not expect to see at all,” Bujtas continued.”
Imagine that... a fossil fuel operation that has lied to the community, and is causing orders of magnitude more damage to the community and the global environment than they said on paper.
