I think the most disturbing thing about realizing that a lot of bosses are using LLMs instead of humans to produce bad* code is that the humans they're replacing were overwhelmingly also producing bad code.
* = I don't actually think all of the code is bad, but I do know that it takes someone with experience to push it in a not-bad direction. This goes for both human-derived code and human-LLM-derived code, too.
