I got most of the photos for the Danby Down and Dirty 2025 at the Pinnacles but after the 10k runners had passed I started walking back to towards the start and got pictures of some 23k runners with a street photography technique

Looking through an arched window and hour after sunrise the blue sky is filled with complex layers of gray and white storm clouds. Across the middle of the sky is a band of backlit yellow clouds. Mapping CO Ice in a Star-Forming Filament in the 3 kpc Arm with JWST
CO gas emission is a fundamental tool for measuring column density, but in cold, dark clouds, much of the CO is locked away in ice. We present JWST results from observations of a star forming filament (G0.342+0.024) that that appears to be associated with the 3 kpc arm. This filament is backlit by the Galactic Center, which has allowed us to construct a high-resolution extinction map (mean separation between stars of ~1" outside the filament, ~2" in the filament).
