A skeet (eg, bluesky toot) from The New York Post. Theheadline reads, "Mamdani hires car-hating activist Ben Furnas to transportation team: 'war on drivers'", with the subhed "Car-hating TRansportation Alternatives boss Ben Furnas has been appointed to Mamdani's transition team for transportation, climate, and infrastructure.." The first response to it is someone named "Lunchtown", saying "Are you guys [meaning the nypost] on bsky for like humiliation fetish reasons?"

I got to slap the spoiler of a car with a thin blue line flag sticker just now, when the douchebag driver blatantly ran a red light and nearly crashed into perpendicular traffic. Wish I had a brick!
Once again, there's no reason for private cars in #NYC. #BanCars

Walking around manhattan in the frigid cold, imagining how much easier walking would be if crosswalks and curb ramps were actually cleared and we didn't have to walk into oncoming traffic.
