I need a "Backrooms" sequel that plays up the "Allegory of the Cave" connection more explicitly: A homeless pregnant woman seeks refuge in the Backrooms, then gives birth and manages to raise her child to adulthood entirely within the Backrooms. The child grows up only learning the Backrooms' degraded copies as real objects, but then upon reaching adulthood, finds an exit, and discovers the Forms™ upon which they were based...
