Feeling the urge to do more #blogging and less social stuff. Many options, but not so easy for a low-brow guy.

Today I got two (2) comments on my blog and they were both positive. I don't think that has ever happened. I usually just get complaints and never more than one per month. #blog #blogging

For years, whenever I'd share links to my Wordpress posts on social media the preview image would be seemingly pulled at random, usually ignoring the first image. Finally fixed it yesterday by installing a plugin called "Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags", then checking the box that says,"First image from the post/page content" in the settings. I'm sure there are better ways to fix but it worked for me. I need a blog. I doubt I will get any readers or subscribers, but at least I can use it as a journal. Hopefully my Fediverse followers would open a link with a good enough teaser.
