Anybody else see huge increases in electricity costs this year? No idea if it's AI datacenter buildout, removal of renewable subsidies, generally increased demand from population growth, or what.
But my rates on the January 6th bill were 11.54 c/kWh for the first 520 kWh and 13.48 after that.
On the December 5th bill, they were 15.09 and 17.03 respectively - a 30.7 and 26.3 percent increase.
