1 minute generative animation of 1000 agents/boids exhibiting self-organizing flocking behaviors. The boids are grouped in 6 different types. The colors are chosen from generated gradients. Each agent has pseudo-3D appearance and is leaving a very slowly fading trail, creating aesthetics reminiscent of sea anemones...

Received wisdom is that you get diminishing returns from tulips if left alone, each year's flowering is supposed to be less impressive than the last.
Well I've had these cheery little guys popping up for at least five years now, I take absolutely no care of them and even plant other things in the container over summer, but they still look splendid in the early Spring sunshine.

Na gut, das Freiluftfoto bei Tageslicht musste ausfallen, der Dauerregen hätte mir das Aquarell sicher etwas... umgestaltet.

Auch wenn sie bei mir mangels Idealbedingungen gar nicht gedeihen Gloriosas gehören mit zu meinen Lieblingsblüten. Da kann man schon mal alle 7 Jahre eine malen (so lang ist die letzte her.)
