Some Canadians had flashbacks to previous World's Series Championships, some younger fans built their own memories, and millions jumped on board the bandwagon. We celebrated every pitch, every swing of the bat, every win that brought us closer to a championship, and each other. Kid1 and I went to the Sky Dome last night. It was pretty sweet watching the Jays take Game 5 with 30,000 other fans. And - an obvious advantage of public transit over individual cars - the chat with the random guys sitting next to us on the train home at midnight was nice too.
