And one more unexpected Nature encounter in #Bochum after the birds - a #beetle (sitting on a restaurant menu of all places) which I'm pretty certain is a multicoloured Asian #LadyBeetle (Harmonia axyridis) - albeit a not very common color form which I've only found exactly like this in https://www.naturfotos-naeher-hingeschaut.de/insekten-gliederfuesser/kaefer/marienkaefer/asiatischer-marienkaefer/

One happy white #stork (Ciconia ciconia) family in #Bochum, Germany, photographed - often with digital zoom at the limit - from the approriate distance: one adult and four youngsters, one pretty big already. A lot of interesting behavior observed in one hour: more pictures in #BirdsOfMastodon

This European #BlueTit - Cyanistes caeruleus, Blaumeise - punk came visit our place in #Bochum, Germany, today. Shot with a #Lumix FZ300 at maximum zoom; light was difficult but some contrast and color adjustment with #IrfanView got this out of the JPG. #BirdsOfMastodon
