Listening to the Christmas concert from Wiener Konzerthaus. Good music, but why does Brownlee sing the musical pieces with vibrato?
I'm not much of a classical music buff and ignorant of much in this field, but this came across to me as odd. It's almost as if the Tenor decided to not adapt his technique to the style of the piece.
Is this common, or with purpose?
Or to put it in another way, is using vibrato a choice?
