Poillievre's shrinking caucus made it to the BBC. It might be an interesting leadership review in January, but I honestly don’t see anyone else ready to step into his position if he was forced into a leadership race.

So I see that now that Blue Canada has its conservative Prime Minister, Poillievre is on the chopping block.
Simultaneous stories yesterday in the Globe and Mail, CBC, questions on Parliament Hill, CPC Caucus “sources".
The Powers That Be are done with Pierre. I'll be happy to see him go... but those same 'powers’ are not laying the groundwork for someone less or even as extremist as Pierre.
Which means we'll continue marching rightward like the USA, and be vulnerable to the same kind of Nazi-glorifying autocrat taking power.

Guilbeault isn't perfect and had to go along with a lot of things, like TMX under Trudeau. But it is clear there were tradeoffs... I am willing to bet a northern pipeline and tanker ban was one of those tradeoffs for agreeing to buy TMX.
He should join the NDP or Greens.

CBC reporting that Elizabeth May has said she will be voting for the budget tonight. Which means the Liberals only need one more vote for it to pass, or for two MPs to abstain.
Seems unlikely we will have an election from this budget vote... but you never know!
