@… here’s some less glossy and less crinkly spicy nature TP found in the shade under some tall trees. #CaliforniaNatives #BayAreaHellscape

Photo of a low-lying Toxicodendron diversilobum shrubbery, showing a different way that it can present (quite different from my last photo of it a week or so ago).

Close up photo of a clump of native shrubberies - grey/green artemisia, dark green bush monkey flower with bright orange trumpet-shaped blossoms, and a fuzzy purple ball that I can’t identify.

ITHURIEL’S SPEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111 😍😍😍 #BloomScrolling #CaliforniaNatives #NatureyCrap #BayAreaHellscape

Close up photo of a Triteleia laxa stalk with 2 dark blue/purple flowers visible. The flowers are cone shaped and upright, with 6 petals, each of which is quite pointy, creating a lovely jagged top edge. The plant itself is mostly hidden underground, and throws up a long stem with branches at the top into one flower per branch (with the number of branches varying from 1 to around a dozen or so).

Flying choir boy vibes tbh #BloomScrolling #CaliforniaNatives #SanFranciscoHellscape

Close up photo of a Romneya coulteri blossom looking like a choir boy who’s about to take flight. The flower is large, floppy, and has 3 or 4 large white petals, with an orange yellow fuzzy ball in the centre that looks like the choir boy’s head. Behind the flower many other Romneya stalks are visible, many with unopened flower buds and/or opened blossoms on them.

ITHURIEL’S SPEAR!!!!!!111 😍😍😍#BloomScrolling #CaliforniaNatives #SanFranciscoHellscape #NatureyCrapEdition

Photo of a clump of Triteleia laxa plants all furiously blossoming. The flowers are trumpet shaped, medium purple on the outside and a pale purple on the inside, and have 6 symmetrical petals. The scene is set against a dry grassy hillside, half in shade.
