Vegetarianism tip: in place of gelatin, you can substitute cinnamon and hot water. The trick is just to use enough: about two cups of each will do the trick for a soft gel.

I have made a ".desktop" file (to launch a .sh file), and it works (yay).
Now I would ideally like to have it sat on the "panel" for ease of launching! Is that possible?
The programs in the start menu offer me " Add to panel", but this doesn't. And it doesn't seem to want to be dragged there either.
Ideas?

@… Mint Cinnamon. It just works and it is relatively light on resources. It also can configured in a variety of ways, perhaps not as much as some distros, but enough for me.
