Forschende der ETH Zürich haben bei drei populären, cloudbasierten Passwortmanagern gravierende Sicherheitslücken entdeckt. In Tests konnten sie gespeicherte Passwörter einsehen und sogar verändern.

God I hate how much the 'recent' folder in Apple macOS has screwed up people's knowledge of where files are stored.
Most beginning to intermediate computer users have no idea where their files are, how to find them, or how to organize them.
Also, automatically forcing people to save onto the Cloud rather than their computers in a way that automatically limits their storage capacity and degrades their user experience is wrong.

Eye Opener! Ein blaues Häkchen für Glaubwürdigkeit – klingt harmlos. „rogi“ zeigt: Dafür wandern Passdaten, Selfie und Biometrie zu Persona, werden abgeglichen und teils für KI genutzt. Und dank Cloud Act vielleicht auch anderswohin. Aber immerhin: Das Profil wirkt vertrauenswürdig.
