Jedes Jahr werden engagierte Sachsen mit dem Verdienstorden des Freistaates geehrt. Regine Seifert aus Hormersdorf gehört zu den Preisträgern 2026. Sie ist eine Erzgebirgerin, wie sie im Buche steht. Seit fünf Jahrzehnten setzt sich die 86-Jährige für die Erhaltung der erzgebirgischen Mundart ein. Außerdem leitet sie das Heimatmuseum in Hormersdorf. Ans Aufhören denkt sie noch lange nicht.
