Had an #acting #coaching client do a physical rehearsal technique I sometimes use, and immediately their upper spine changed and their voice shifted really nicely. Next take after the technique: the change partly remained, clarifying things as I'd hoped. Satisfying.

Due to a >1000% increase in attempted signups on our server datasci.social in the past weeks generated by AI bots, we added a new rule: Only human users. (They won't care, but it's now explicit.)
We also clarify our ads rule: No commercial advertisements, unless permitted. This has never been an issue, but we want to be open to allow small projects supporting themselves reasonably. We deleted mention of spam as it is already covered by Mastodon's defaults.

So: I did it—traded in my orange 17 Pro Max. A bit sad because I did love having such a colorful object in my life, and have a few matching items around.
But: got $250 more than I owed on the upgrade program, and the whole value was applied to the lease, leaving me with a $1.17 monthly payment, plus the AppleCare. Have to finish paying off the other loan, but I imagine/hope the accrued equity will roll over when I renew in 12 months...
