I'm learning how to use it properly. I tried to capture some impressions from our #cycling ride last weekend near #Tegernsee. (And learned that I should really buy an appropriate SD Card.)

I was asked if I had tackled Ditchling Beacon (South Downs) - not yet. It prompted me to record yesterday's ride to Brighton on another route (sped up to about 400 mph!)

Imagine that there's a combined walking and cycling path that splits into separate path for pedestrians and bikes. Now, imagine that they're marked "PEDESTRIANS" and "BICYCLES" in large lettering. Now, imagine that there are also barriers on the entry to the pedestrian path.
Of course there's also an arc of destroyed grass showing how cyclists keep riding around the barrier and into the pedestrian path.

Riding around with Kid1 last night, I remarked that many of the drivers, who seemed more agitated than normal, were "ornery." I explained what the word meant and he said, "I think 'hornery' better describes it." We now have a term for a specific form of dangerous driving.
