#TIL: #DELL used #FreeBSD for their ThinOS thin client operating system, except they b0rked it pretty hard in terms of boot integrity. They then switched to Ubuntu and b0rked that instead.
Should I have my laptop repaired for 600€? The battery, motherboard, keyboard and parts of the cooling need to be replaced. Without that, the #laptop is practically unusable. (Unfortunately, I cannot wait for a downwards trend in hardware prices.) #Dell, 16 GB of
