The output of multiple checks rolling 1d20 + 20 with advantage. The first check shows that a natural 20 was rolled with a total check value of 40, the second showing a normal roll with a total of 28.

Stocking a 5e megadungeon and trying to figure out how hard to make the monsters on each level. How many moderate encounters does it take to advance? That number is not a constant, and it's not even a monotonic function of level! (1 -> 4, 5 -> 10, but 6 -> 9). How can I even approximate what level they'll be at 50 encounters in the future? #dnd #ttrpg
