About fucking time... Android finally doing proper DHCPv6. When this is live on my phone I can turn off SLAAC, and not have Windows insist on using it (yes, there's meant to be ways to stop Windows from using SLAAC, so it only uses DHCPv6, but I never saw any of them work). *I* don't want 'random' addresses, I want predictable ones for firewalling and ACLs:

Phanpy doesn't support quoots yet, so I'm using Mastodon's stock web interface and.. it's bad. Compare how busy it looks with unnecessary stuff (do I really need a "post" input form on screen at all times? Do I need a link to "favorites" visible at all times?), but also - the fonts are bad. Bad, bad, bad. Just so much harder to read. And the timeline toots just kind of run together, rather than being clearly delineated by whitespace in phanpy.

A week of Oxford!
Started with a beautiful day yesterday at the special BE2 event ‘The Use of AI in Education: Evidence and Use’, on the grounds of St Hilda’s College, University of Oxford.
Lovely to connect with colleagues and friends, old and new!
