Is there a term for the logical fallacy of "being a specialist in a field making people wrongly assume their knowledge applies in other fields"?
Sort of related to Dunning-Kruger but not the same (Dunning-Kruger is "some knowledge in one field makes people wrongly assume more knowledge in that field").

A sunny dining room. A white and tabby cat basks on the sunny windowsill next to a planter of green herbs. You can see a glimpse of orange dining chair bottom right, and a faintly twee tall white wood cabinet on the left. There are blue skies, the garden is very green, and the wall behind the radiator is in a state as we've just had an air source heat pump fitted and 10 radiators replaced 😱 It's prompted us to repaint the dining room, probably in a pale green.
