Looking at Sun3 psu parts again, it seems to me that they were designed in negative - this little daughtercard makes it pretty obvious - they've not laid down tracks - they've down the gaps and ended up with sets of lands. The whole board is only a few cm across, so I don't think anything here is taking significant power.

At 27 pages into Gil Duršn’s new book “The Nerd Reich” I came full stop at this sentence:
“As many political schools of thought do, these technolibertarians make a philosophy out of a personality defect.”
Simply and elegantly stated. The various techno-optimistic philosophies running around Silicon Valley and the venture capital community are toxic and inhumane. We are desperately in need of a new tech manifesto that puts human wellbeing, acceptance, compassion and love as first principals. Why do we write code if not for this? The current direction of technology leadership has taken a wrong turn onto a dark and destructive path. This needs to change.
This is a great book so far. Highly recommend it.

Hatte mir vorletzte Woche einen im Sonderangebot bei Conrad bestellt und in einem Schacht der Filament Einheit (AMS) blieb das Filament immer stecken.
Da habe ich den Support von Bambu Lab kontaktiert und gefragt, ob die mir einen neuen zuschicken, damit ich nicht das ganze riesige Ding wieder zu Conrad zum tauschen schicken muss und das haben die gemacht.

Kundin kauft neuen HP Drucker. Erreicht mich nicht. Fragt Copilot nach einer HP Hotline. Bekommt Nummer. Ruft dort an. Mensch mit indischem Akzent geht ran. Lässt Fernwartungssoftware "Ultraviewer" herunterladen. Meckert, dass der ganze PC ja verseucht sei. Lädt "Driver Optimizer", "Total AV" und noch einiges mehr runter. Die Tools zeigen, wie schlimm doch alles ist. Er öffnet eine Webseite, auf der sie Kreditkartendaten angeben soll.

Da muss aber vermutlich viel Luft durch, damit es nicht zu heiß wird. Baust Du das dann in ein Gehäuse mit einem großen Noctua Lüfter oder dergleichen?
Hatte so ein Gehäuse letzte Woche zufällig zum drucken gesehen, als ich nach Möglichkeiten für den neuen Drucker gesucht hatte.

It's a step change that is psychologically salient, but at my latitude there's about 4h45 natural difference in the time of sunset (or rise); the DST change is adding 1h to the change in sunset time, taking 1h away from change in sunrise time.
