Europe’s EV sales rose 40.5% in first half of 2026
According to new data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), the number of electric vehicles (EVs) sold across the European Union (EU) rose by over 40% in the first half of this year.

Maybe the war between Russia and Europe, will not be as kinetic and intense as past wars. But it seems we are slowly gliding into something that could be given that name. Russia also has an interest to make it not an "all-out" conflict because by keeping it at a lower intensity, art. 4 and art. 5 of the NATO treaty stay out of sight. A lot of NATO-countries will oppose calling for a art.5 procedure when "just" a few targets in Europe are hit.

We can assume that Russia is fully engaged in supporting the AfD where it can, indirectly, via intermediaries. Maybe using their old contacts and intelligence networks in the "east". Also it will probably support muslim extremism and extreme left, also with cut-outs, all to destabilze Germany.
If you read about coldwar history, they have a lot of experience in playing various sides to destabilize countries.
