Are you confused in #Teams because sometimes Enter sends message but sometimes it does a line break?
I just realised that when you're in "show formatting options" mode, it is the latter, otherwise the former.
To activate this mode, click on the little A pen icon at the bottom of the composing windows.
Of course Teams could just always have Enter do a line break... But that would be …

Content warning: Yet another genAI complain

Reading at the end of an article from a neuroscientist, expert in their field, author of dozens of papers, professor at a renowned university, that "the author used an AI-based tool to improve clarity and readability" makes me so sad..

I have become so used to not owning anything (beyond my electronics) that I feel anxious at the idea of buying big things like a car or even a house. When I used to have my own bike I was always going to check on it whenever I heard a noise outside. Eventually I moved on to those shared bikes and that's much more relaxing..
How do you all deal with owning things? If you own a car, or a flat / house, are you actually more happy than if you were renting it? If it got stolen or damaged in…
