My MIL passed away a few months ago. Her husband/wife's stepdad is here visiting for the first time since. They mostly have a good relationship.
His retirement years have been focused on becoming a citizen expert in a particular medical field. Seems to have cultivated a decent reputation - he's frequently name dropping getting published in this or that journal. We don't see him that often but it's mentioned basically every time we do.
He's just self-published his Memoir, b/c why who knows. Clearly keen to have it well received.
HE WENT ON TO HER COMPUTER/ FACEBOOK AND REPLIED TO HIS POST 'AS HER' SAYING WHAT A GREAT READ IT WAS.
Like W.T.F? Caught he claimed he didn't think he'd actually sent the post, just typed it. As if that somehow makes it better?
No fucking words.
